Privacy Policy
Pressure Control is built to keep your health data on your devices. This policy explains, in plain language, what the app and this website process and why.
Pressure Control (“we”, “us”) is an independent iOS and watchOS app. By using the app or this website you agree to the practices described below.
Summary
- Your blood pressure readings and other health data stay on your devices, in Apple Health and, if you enable it, in your private iCloud account.
- We do not run servers that store your health data, and we never sell personal data.
- AI reports are generated entirely on your iPhone.
- We use Firebase for anonymous analytics, and Google AdMob for optional ads in the free version.
Health data and Apple Health
With your permission, Pressure Control reads and writes blood pressure and heart rate in Apple Health (HealthKit). It can also read sleep, heart rate variability, respiratory rate, steps and exercise to show comparisons and daily scores.
Health data is processed on your device to show charts, classifications, reports and reminders. It is never used for advertising or marketing, never included in analytics, and never sold.
You can change or revoke access at any time in the Health app → Sharing → Apps → Pressure Control.
iCloud sync
If you turn on iCloud sync, your readings and settings are stored in your private iCloud database through Apple’s CloudKit. This data is controlled by your Apple Account and is not accessible to us. Apple’s privacy policy applies.
Camera, scanning and PDF import
When you scan your monitor’s display, the camera image is analysed on your device with Apple’s Vision framework to read the numbers. Images are not stored or uploaded.
PDF files you choose to import are read on your device. Their contents are not uploaded.
AI reports on your device
Health reports and chart summaries are generated on your iPhone. On supported devices they are written by Apple’s on-device model (Apple Intelligence); otherwise the app builds the report from your statistics locally.
No health data is sent to any AI provider or to us to create these reports.
Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand how the app is used. It may process device model, OS and app version, app events, approximate country and pseudonymous app-instance identifiers.
Analytics never includes your health readings.
Crash reports: if the app crashes, it sends an anonymous crash report to Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) with the stack trace, device model, operating system and app version, and the time of the crash. It contains no personal data or content entered in the app, is used only to find and fix errors, and Google keeps it for 90 days.
Advertising and App Tracking Transparency
The free version may show a rewarded ad from Google AdMob, for example before creating a PDF report. PRO users do not see ads.
Before personalised ads are shown, iOS asks for your permission through App Tracking Transparency. If you decline, AdMob serves non-personalised ads only. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive only the information needed to unlock PRO; we never see your payment details.
Support messages
If you contact us through the support form, your name, email, topic and message are delivered to us through EmailJS so we can reply. Please do not include medical information. We keep these messages only as long as needed to help you, and you can ask us to delete them.
Retention and your rights
Data on your devices remains until you delete it in the app, in Apple Health, in iCloud, or by deleting the app. Analytics data is retained according to Firebase’s settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise them, contact us through the support page.
Children
Pressure Control is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
